Sussex Churches: St Peter’s, Woodmancote, West Sussex

The fascinating little church in Woodmancote West Sussex was largely remodelled in the 19th century but has 13th century architectural origins. As a memorial in the churchyard attests, two former parishioners (John Oswald and Thomas Harland) were among the Lewes martyrs that are still remembered in the town on November 5th.
